1. Gastroenterologist -Doctors who specialize in illnesses of the human digestive system (think colonoscopies and stomach ulcers)—$269,500
2. Podiatrist -Doctors who specialize in illnesses of the feet (toe fungus, anyone?)—$125,663
3. Private Security Contractor in Iraq -Do I really need to describe the part of this career that sucks? Well, it’s not the pay check. Bodyguards for diplomats can earn $10,000+ per month—$120,000
4. IT Worker -Information technology workers, help desk, tech support, programmers are all lumped in here. Ranked as one of the most stressful jobs—$103,400
5. Crop Duster Pilot -The expression running on fumes comes to mind here. These pilots fly low to the ground spewing pesticides—$54,000-$80,000
6. Crime Scene Cleaner -No, I didn’t mean CSI. Crime Scene Cleaners enter when CSI leaves. They clean up blood, brain matter and other bodily leftovers—$50,400
7. Roughneck -Not the ones mentioned in the MC Lyte classic, but the construction workers who do the scary jobs on big rigs or under other dirty and dangerous conditions—$46,867
8. Toll Collector -Want to spend hours on the freeway sniffing fumes in a 2-by-2 box?—$45,000
9. Long-Haul Truckers -Seems the same as above, huh? Well, it’s actually worse because these truck drivers have to drive long hours, sleep in the back of their trucks or in creepy motels. And, for all of that they generally get to die about 15 years sooner than other men who work in other professions. Mmmm…get some.—$45,000-$85,000
10. Embalmer -You’re not alone Haley Joe. They see dead people too. And, worse they drain ‘em, stuff ‘em, make up their faces and do their hair.—$42,400
