The National Black MBA Association will hold its 29th Annual Conference & Exposition Sept. 11-16, 2007, in Orlando, Florida at the Orange County Convention Center. The theme of this year’s conference is Relevance: Staying Current, Creative and Credible. The focus of the event is to focus on the impact African Americans will have on the business environment in the year 2025.
The event is sponsored by more than 400 corporate sponsors including Intel, Dell, Motorola, Microsoft, IBM, Deloitte, PepsiCo and HP, to name a few, and features workshops and roundtables on leadership, management, career success, entrepreneurship, consulting, women-owned businesses, supplier diversity, branding and customer service. There will be a Chrysler-sponsored student case on Sept. 13, a career fair and GMAT Prep class on Friday, Sept. 14, and a 5k Run/Walk on Sept. 15. The event will close with an “Old School Jam”.
More than 11,000 attendees are expected.
