Careersthatdontsuck.com is now offering online career coaching via IM, email, VOIP or video conference. Online coaching services were added in response to client request for more flexibility in the days, times and ways they attend coaching sessions. And, it makes sense that, since most of our clients found us online, that they would be excited about and open to online coaching sessions.
We’ve completed our first round of online sessions–both interview coaching and career coaching–and they were great fun and very effective (I admit I was a little skeptical at first). But, now I’m sure it can be done well and allow our career coaches to continue to provide the same level of service and support we’ve been able to provide in our offline, in-person coaching sessions (currently available in the SF Bay Area only). Careersthatdontsuck.com will continue to coach our clients on issues including resolving conflicts between themselves and their supervisors/co-workers and managing difficult staff, building confidence and improving communication skills (These sessions may require in-person meetings), starting a new business and improving work-life balance.
So, without further ado, online coaching sessions are available now. And, if that’s not enough, offering online coaching sessions will allow us to offer sessions at a lower price.
Online coaching sessions are available via most popular IM services, i.e. Messenger, Google Talk, AIM, and Skype. Coaching sessions are even available via text messaging on mobile phones and PDAs, and via email.
