Essence magazine, the leading magazine for African-American women, presents its annual leadership conference for women on Friday, October 5, 2007 at the Marriott Marquis hotel in New York City.  The conference theme is “Women Who Are Shaping the World”.  The conference will feature workshops and seminars led by successful women (and a few men) from all facets of the business (and spiritual) world, and networking opportunities.
