Most of the news on the economic recession downturn is bad. There’s simply no way around it. But, there are a few bright spots, the most important of which is the job markets that have continued to grow in spite of the decline.
There are ten markets that stand out in terms of job growth. Three of the 10 are in the state of Texas, five are in the South and three are in the Midwest. These markets may not be glamorous (New York City and L.A. are not among them), but they have managed to continue to grow due, in great part, to having strong industries and relatively low costs of living and unemployment rates.
