Monday night’s meeting of Careersthatdontsuck’s Career Changers’ Group was another excellent experience. Career Changers’ met at the offices of our venue sponsor, Organic Inc., where I presented “Now What?”, a presentation of the business and career opportunities still–and newly–available in the wake of the economic downturn and other business, social and other trends. The group was pleasantly surprised to find that there was still money being pumped into several sectors of California’s economy, and several industries experiences growth nationally. They were most surprised to find that there are opportunities to be found even in those sectors that are in decline.

Attendees also used the opportunity to share their current ventures with the group. They shared organic product distribution, mortgageEverybody Else's Guide to Green & Socially Responsible Careers brokering and career coaching ventures. I shared the information on Careersthatdontsuck’s upcoming book–Everybody Else’s Guide to Green & Socially Responsible Careers.
