Today’s “Coach-In-A-Box” Call was great fun and a great success to boot (if you don’t count a few technical difficulties on my part). The call was a 2-part call. In the first part, I introduced Everybody Else’s Guide to Green & Socially Responsible Careers and discussed the amazing vitality of the “green economy” in spite of the economic downturn.
In part 2 of the call, I took email and IM questions from career changers and job searchers. Questions covered everything from how to get started freelancing to when and whether you should hire a career coach. In between there were questions about which employers are still hiring and what to do if an employer is not getting back to you after an interview.
I ended the call by inviting participants to read Careersthatdontsuck.com and join the Career Changers’ Group in order to get further help with their career management and job search concerns.
