Amazon.com to hire 500+. The Line Starts in Kentucky.

Bezos and his bunch at Amazon.com have been busy little beavers of late, adding products and services like Kindle and the Kindle Store, video product reviews, Askville, CreateSpace, UnBox–you name it. All that creating has created a need to hire at least 500 new employees.

Amazon.com plans to hire over 500 new employees in its three fulfillment centers located in Hebron, Kentucky. Amazon will begin hiring next week. If you live in Kentucky, want to work in Kentucky, or just want to work for Amazon.com so badly you’ll move to Kentucky, you’re in luck!

Amazon.com held the first of two open houses today and will host a second hiring event tomorrow at the Holiday Inn in Erlanger, Ky (Get more info). Amazon.com reps will be hiring hourly workers.
