A new study from the Pew Research Center for the People & The Press reveals that 61% of Americans believe free trade agreements with other countries lead to job losses for U.S. workers.
Fifty-six percent say that free trade makes wages lower in the United States. Fifty percent (50%) say it slows the economy, and 39% believe it leads to higher prices for Americans.
The only benefit Americans see is that free trade has improved the lives of people in developing countries (according to 58% of those surveyed).
