- Time Warner Entertainment Co. LP plans to expand its Charlotte, NC operations, adding 200 jobs and investing more than $3 million.
- Fluor Corp., an engineering and construction firm, is expanding and adding jobs at its Sugar Land, TX complex.

Urban Outfitters expects to add 100 new jobs at its Augusta, Georgia facility, including material handlers, customer service representatives as well as supervisor and lead positions. Apply in person at the One Stop Center located at 400 Church St. in Edgefield or at 1571 Richland Ave. East in Aiken, or at 30 Industrial Park Blvd. in Trenton, which is located on U.S. Highway 25, nine miles north of I-20 at exit 5 in the Edgefield County Industrial Park.
- Nashville-based Gibson Guitar is adding 200 employees to the staff. Gibson will hold a series of jobs fairs at the Gibson USA Plant at 641 Massman Drive in Nashville at the following times:
•   Aug. 7: 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.
•   Aug. 12: 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.
•   Aug. 20: 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.
•   Aug. 23: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
•   Aug. 28: 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.
- Kohl’s is opening 47 new stores throughout the U.S. and are currently hosting a series of job fairs (Get job fair dates and locations). The number of stores to be opened in each state in parentheses.
