There are still a few good jobs to be had. Here’s the latest installment.
- StarTek will add another 100 jobs at its call center in Greeley, CO to help out one of its largest global telecommunications clients.
- First Solar of Perrysburg, OH, an installer of solar panels, will add at least 134 jobs and double the size of its plant just outside Toledo.
- Elsag North America, a company that produces license plate recognition software is expanding its Greensboro, NC location and will add 100 jobs during the next year.
- Cabela’s outdoor equipment store will open a 125,000-square-foot retail store in Detroit, Michigan.
- Flat Wireless, the Texas Division of Clear Talk, will create nearly 70 new jobs in Lubbock and Amarillo, TX.
- PCMS Datafit Inc., a provider of retail software and services, has received a $70,000 grant from the Ohio Department of Development for an expansion project expected to add 70 jobs.
- Indianapolis-based Pharmakon LTC Pharmacy Inc., a health care communications company, will pay an average of $50,000 a year to each of the 52 employees it plans to add.
- Wind turbine manufacturer Vestas plans to build two plants in Brighton, 15 miles northeast of Denver, and bring a total of 1,350 more jobs to the state.
- Volvo AB of Sweden said it would embark on a $50 million expansion and add 50 workers to its Mack Powertrain Division plant in Hagerstown, MD as part of a sweeping company-wide restructuring.
