The iPhone has peaked as the year’s hottest tech gadget, the Amazon Kindle’s on a 13-week backorder and there’s no need to stand in line for a Wii or any other game console. So, what’s the year’s hottest gift, the thing nearly everyone wants to see under the tree or next to the menorah? It’s a job, of course. Bet you never thought we’d be wishing you had to go to work.

Don’t worry if there’s not a job offer wrapped and ready for you just yet. There’s still time to fluff up your resume and get into the inboxes of recruiters from healthy companies.
