More Truths From the Job-Hunting Trail

- There are no CEO jobs at job fairs. That is not to say that there are not good jobs to be had at job fairs, but that you should lower your expectations a smidgen in order to land one.
- Everyone’s got a resume and a sad story. You need a better one of each. Note: A better resume is one that is written with a specific job in mind. A better sad story is a shorter one.
- Cover letters suck! That is, unless they are written with a special job and company in mind. Leave generic cover letters at home.
