Your success at finding a job depends on where and what kind of job you’re looking for. Let’s focus on the latter–the what. Some jobs are easier to get because there are more openings. Some are easier to get because there are fewer people qualified to take them. And then there are health care-related jobs. There are more health care jobs posted online than any other category of jobs (615,400 health care-related jobs posted online right now). However, relatively few people are qualified for most of the available health care jobs.

Note that Health Care appears twice on this list. The first, Health Care Practitioners & Technical, refers to doctors, pharmacists, nurses, other health care providers, medical researchers and the like. The second, Health Care Support, refers to pharmacy techs, EMT’s and other allied health workers, medical billers, nurse assistants, home health care workers and other personnel.
