For-Profit Colleges Offer Dollars & Diplomas

I’m not a big fan of for-profit colleges. In general, they are just money-sucks. They convince people that fluffy degrees and certificates in low-paying fields/majors will net them lucrative new jobs and promotions. Usually, the only thing anyone gets out of these places is a lesson in milking the Fed out of financial aid dollars. Until now.
Now, they’re still mostly money-sucks, but now we can use their evil to our good. For-profit colleges are the (supposedly) unintended beneficiaries of billions in stimulus dollars. They’ll use those dollars to line their investors’ pockets, to fund their marketing campaigns and to HIRE!
