There’s always an upside and a down. An earlier post was about the good job-hunting grounds. This one’s about those states you’ll want to avoid if you are considering relocating to find a job. That said, this doesn’t mean you’ll never find a job in one of these tight markets.

- Michigan – 15%
- Rhode Island – 12.7%
- Nevada – 12.5%
- California – 11.9%
- Oregon – 11.9%
- South Carolina – 11.8%
- Ohio – 11.2%
- Kentucky – 11%
- North Carolina – 11%
- Florida – 10.7%
- Tennessee – 10.7%
