The Most Fertile Job-Hunting Grounds

If you are lucky enough to live in or be able to relocate to one of these markets, you are that much closer to finding a job.  These cities are the most fertile job-hunting grounds based on the fact that they have the greatest number of available jobs and the smallest number of unemployed people competing for them (either because they aren’t qualified or because they’ve given up).

MOST FERTILE JOB-HUNTING GROUNDS

Washington, DC (1 job for every 1.12 unemployed people)

Salt Lake City, UT (1 jobs for every 1.63 unemployed people)

Baltimore, MD (1 jobs for every 1.77 unemployed people)

Oklahoma City, OK (1 jobs for every 2.02 unemployed people)

Honolulu, HI (1 jobs for every 2.18 unemployed people)

Austin, TX (1 jobs for every 2.36 unemployed people)

Hartford, CT (1 jobs for every 2.38 unemployed people)

Denver, CO (1 jobs for every 2.44 unemployed people)

San Antonio, TX (1 jobs for every 2.46 unemployed people)
