Supply & Demand: 10 States Supply the Jobs You Demand
Posted on | February 9, 2010 | No Comments
Employers posted 382,000 new jobs between December and January, and 750,000 new jobs between October and January. The unemployment rate is creeping downward (from 10% to 9.7%), but the job market is thawing unevenly. Some states are feeling the bounty of the recovery, while others are waiting to exhale. But, before you dash across state lines to a state with lots of available jobs, consider the competition. It’s better to be #100 in line for 500 jobs than #100 in line for 50 jobs.
As always, Careersthatdontsuck.com is here to help. We’ve assembled a list of the states with the most jobs and the least competition.
STATES WITH THE MOST JOBS, LEAST COMPETITION
