3,957,000 Jobs Online Now!

There are 3,957,000 jobs online now!  That’s one job for every 4 unemployed people.  Employers posted nearly 67,000 fewer jobs online between February and March.  According to June Shelp, VP, The Conference Board, online job numbers indicate that the economy is recovering and employers are filling vacant positions.

Individual states showed modest to significant gains, but the Midwest region was the only region to show an increase in jobs posted online, up 15,300 jobs.

8. Hartford, CT (+4%)
9. Seattle-Tacoma, WA (+4%)
10. Oklahoma City, OK (+4%)
